The Children's Museum of the Galilee will be built in the northern region of Israel which is currently very resource underserved. The museum will serve as a wellspring for families and an exciting supplement for schools. It will be a place where babies and toddlers can touch and explore in a safe quiet place, where school-aged children will have the resources to grow and expand developmentally, where children of all religions, ethnicities and cultures will discover "everything is more than it seems."
The region encompasses the richly diverse religions, ethnicities, and cultures of northern Israeli residents: Jews, Arabs, Druze, Christians, and others.
The Northern District (Hatzafon) has
415,000 children ages 0–14 years.* The population in Israel is
9,474,000 of which 27.8% are ages 0–14 years.** That means there are
2,634,000 (and counting) children living in Israel who will benefit from our children’s museum! *Statista research department, Feb 8, 2022.
